Focus & Scope

Sorption Studies (Sorpt. Stud.) is a double-blind peer-reviewed devoted to elucidating the fundamental aspects of chemistry and physics occurring at a wide range of adsorption and absorption and to disseminating this knowledge fast. The Sorpt. Stud. is an open-access journal containing original articles and review articles in the areas related to adsorption and absorption science. The Sorpt. Stud. publishes 2 issues in a year on June (first issue) and December (second issue). The Sorpt. Stud. has adopted a double-blind reviewing policy whereby both the referees and author(s) remain anonymous throughout the process. The Sorpt. Stud. welcomes a broad spectrum of topics, including but not limited to:

• all aspects of adsorption-desorption.
• absorption phenomena, including superabsorbent material and radar absorption material.
• nanoscale science and engineering, including manipulation of matter at the atomic/molecular scale and assembly phenomena.
• reactivity of surfaces as related to various applied areas including heterogeneous catalysis, chemistry at electrified interfaces, and semiconductor functionalization.
• surface reactivity for environmental protection and pollution remediation.
• interactions at surfaces of soft matter, including polymers and biomaterials.
