Journal of Hydrothermal Systems is an international peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge on hydrothermal, geothermal, geophysical, geochemical, and geological systems. The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academics, professionals, and practitioners to publish high-quality studies related to subsurface fluid circulation, heat transfer, water–rock interaction, geothermal resources, and hydrothermal processes in volcanic, non-volcanic, tectonic, sedimentary, and radiogenic environments. The journal welcomes original research articles, review papers, short communications, and case studies that contribute to the understanding of hydrothermal systems through field observation, laboratory analysis, geophysical exploration, geochemical and isotopic tracers, numerical modeling, remote sensing, and integrated Earth science approaches.

The scope of the journal includes, but is not limited to, hydrothermal and geothermal systems, hot springs, groundwater–geothermal interaction, geophysical exploration, gravity, magnetic, resistivity, seismic, and electromagnetic methods, hydrogeochemistry, isotope hydrology, water–rock interaction, fluid origin and evolution, heat source characterization, mineral alteration, geothermal resource assessment, environmental impacts of geothermal activity, and sustainable utilization of Earth and energy resourcesJournal of Hydrothermal Systems aims to support the dissemination of scientific findings that improve the understanding of hydrothermal processes and their role in Earth systems, natural resources, environmental sustainability, and renewable energy development.

Published by Indonesian Scholar Society, the journal is committed to promoting international collaboration, academic integrity, and open scientific exchange in hydrothermal and geothermal research.
